On August 23rd and 28th the gallery exhibition of Joséphine Dubern’s work was accompanied by a special immersive gallery performance directed by Karina Majewski delved into the twin vocations of artist and mother and how they are embodied.
The performance featured poetry by Janice Hernandez.

Karina Majewski is a playwright & performer based in New York City. She received her MFA in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and their three sons.
Janice Hernandez is a poet and mother living in Chicago. She holds an MFA from George Mason University. Her work can be found in DIAGRAM, the Journal, Hobart, Blackbird, Cincinnati Review, and elsewhere.
