On Friday October 3rd, Arthouse2B partnered with Ballet Hartford to bring our community an exclusive ballet performance and talkback. The sold-out event at The Alvin Ailey Studios in Midtown was an exploration of the theology in Claire Kretzschmar's original ballets, featuring live performances by Ballet Hartford dancers and a moderated discussion led by Jessica Stack. Performed excerpts included dances from her acclaimed pieces, A Ceremony of Carols and Raffaella, as well as her newest work-in-progress, Notte di Natale (Christmas Night) which premieres this November 29th in Hartford, CT.
Claire Kretzschmar is a choreographer, dancer, teacher, podcast host, former soloist with New York City Ballet (NYCB 2010-2022), current Artistic Director of Ballet Hartford, and co-founder of Arthouse2B.
