Humanity was created to live in union with God. Sin and disobedience had pushed us out of God’s presence into a state of isolation and exile from Him who is Life. God resolved to meet us in our exile and so lead us back into God’s presence. Under the baptismal waters, we are drawn out of Adam’s isolation and corruption and brought into the integrity and glory of the resurrected body of Christ.

The retreat will feature five talks throughout the weekend that will investigate the question: what will save me from my loneliness? Each talk will touch on aspects of the path of the human person from isolation into communion by their membership in his glorified body, the Church. We will explore Christ's role as head of the Church, how this rescue is executed for the baptized and the unbaptized, and how it plays out in our day-to-day lives.

This year our retreat speakers will include: Fr. Joseph Michael Fino, CFR, Sr. Eden Marie, S.V., Marina Fess, and Fr. Jonah Teller, O.P. 

In addition to the series of talks, there will be time each day for reception of the sacraments, Eucharistic Adoration, and extended time for rest, personal prayer, creative work, time outdoors, and fellowship.

Join us June 12-14, 2026 at the Retreat Center at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington, NY for our annual retreat for artists. Ticket price includes the cost of lodging and meals throughout the weekend. Please stay tuned for further details from the retreat team regarding suggestions for transportation to the retreat center, including options for carpool and/or public transportation.
